Independent Infants is the Phreedum Infant and Childrens line. Products are available as one pieces and range from size 0-3months to 12 months. Phreedum believes the message of hope, creativity, and freedom begins at a very early age. When children are raised in communities where team work is the norm, the belief they can be and do anything regardless of class, race, or gender, they can become amazing human beings effecting positive social change. The parachute design is our logo design. It’s a symbol of letting go and falling free. It’s our way of using an image to capture that which we as a team and as a brand realize most people desire to experience in life. We also realize people don’t always desire to be free from but to be free to. At Phreedum we work hard so the individuals we help are free from can’t, never, and won’t. We help people, even the little people, to rise above socioeconomic barriers, stereotypes, and disease. We remind people they are free to dream, free to create, and best of all, free to be. We remind people they are free to let go and free to fall into the futures they desire.

There is nothing sweeter than just laying around all day, having someone at your beck and call, laughing, crying, playing, and being told how adorable you are. But we all know that only works for a little while- when you’re a kid. At Phreedum we like kids. Not just because it can be a pretty sweet deal, but because kids are our future and a constant reminder of just how carefree life once was and can be. They remind us to stop and laugh, be silly, and to give. Kids are some of the best examples of what it means to give. So dress your tike in this little number. Kids have great imaginations. They are the eternal hope for’s, believing anything is possible. They have these great developing personalities, they work hard even at age five to assert their independence, and they do believe they can save the world. And I think in many ways as adults, they do save our world. Their gentle ways, their helpfulness, their corny jokes, missing front teeth, and finger glob painted pictures have a way of pulling us back from the edge where life gets super serious, leaves little room to enjoy the small things in life, and all the ordeal that comes with being a grown up. Encourage their independent spirit, their imagination, their self belief.

Okay so it’s pretty rare kids are quiet, let alone focused enough to meditate. But wouldn’t it be nice if they did? But even if they aren’t quiet or focused they are great for imitating. So this design actually goes out to Oren, the son of my friend and former coworker who is all about yoga, Buddhism, and meditating. At the age of two he agreed with his mom that he too could “om.”
